JH Public Art invites you to a free community lantern-building workshop with artist Valerie Seaberg. Inspired by the garden as a metaphor for care and connection, we’ll craft glowing, nature-inspired lanterns from willow, rattan, and other sustainable materials. Each lantern will shine as a blossom of light as part of a luminous installation celebrating community, stewardship, and the rhythms of nature. This workshop can be attended as a one or two day experience. Come plant your light in the garden! Adults ages 18 and up.

REGISTRATION FOR ALL WORKSHOPS IS REQUIRED.
The workshops are provided for free by the generous supporters of JH Public Art. There is a $25 nonrefundable materials fee. A donation of $50 is suggested to help us cover the costs of classroom space. Let’s create something beautiful together—one glowing lantern at a time.
