Join a fun and completely FREE family event at R Park on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Each child will receive a complimentary fishing rod to use at the ponds, with friendly volunteers on hand to teach basic fishing skills and offer guidance. Enjoy a scavenger hunt filled with learning about fish, aquatic life, boating, river safety, and more. Kids who participate will be entered into a raffle with exciting prizes!

Plus, don’t miss the free hot dog lunch for all attendees. Come out and cast a line!

Kids Fishing Day is hosted by Wyoming Game and Fish. JHPA will be facilitating a painting activity for kids. The paper will be used to paper lanterns for the Garden of Lanterns and a fish lantern will be on display to create excitement for the Garden of Lanterns.
